posting/calendar suggestions

Hi all,

I’m building a WP site in which almost every posting will reference a job-call. Each of these posts will display the job’s application deadline. I would like to have these posts automatically referenced in a calendar structured around these deadlines.
I’d like to use this information in a couple of ways: in a conventional calendar interface, and as a list of ‘upcoming deadlines.’

I’ve shopped around for possible calendar plugins, but am uncertain which to use.
Has anyone got any suggestions for this project?
