I’m creating several different galleries that I want to share on my website. What I have in mind is having a main page with an image to link back to each individual gallery. I’m assuming that I would need to use the built in media to post a single image, then link to the separate page for a specific gallery.

Am I on track? Any other suggestions?

    TIA,
    Chris

    hey @ipaddle4fun ,

Yes you are on the right track. There are a few options:

    1. Your current route. Create individual pages with galleries. Then create another top level gallery, but instead of opening each image to it’s full size attachment, set the “Thumbnail Link” to Custom URL. Then for each item in your gallery, set the custom URL to the page URL you want to link it to.
    2. You can also setup an album. So create all your galleries the usual way, and then create an album and select all the galleries you want in it. Then copy the album shortcode and add it to a page. This saves you having to create each page, but you also lose control.

So either should work for you and it really just depends on your workflow and preference.

I am closing this ticket with the above answer, but reply if you have any more questions and I will assist
