Posting content completely a mess! Help Please!

    Help Please!!!!

    I am new to wordpress and still learning how to use this, and not having much luck!

    I have created pages and when I copy and paste the content into the page, it looks fine, however when I publish it, the content font and formatting is all messed up. It is not even close to what I posted. The font is different, smaller, the paragraphs are all out of line and huge spaces between them. No matter how I try it, nothing seems to work and I am about frustrated enough to forget it and delete my account.

    The blog posts to the main content blog are fine, its just the other pages. I am copying and pasting all my content from my existing website to the WP pages.

    I would appreciate any help or suggestions. I have spent hours and hours messing with this.

    It is because the copy on those pages was produced or cut and pasted from Word. That introduces code that is not compatible with anything.

    You need to save your data at a txt file in maybe wordpad and then cut and paste.

    I have also tried copying and pasting straight from my other website to this one, it didnt work.

    The challange is if I use wordpad, I loose all the links.

    Is there any other solutions where I wouldn’t have to recreate all these links again?

    You can try the Paste from Word button on the WP Editor. Or you can go to the HTML mode and remove the Word code from your entry leaving the links.

    You can also try to Publish from Word, a Word feature that lets you publish to your website.

    thanks for your help! I think I have it now, that worked well!

    I do have some other challanges, but I guess I should post them in a separate post to keep things organized.
