What is it you plan to display in your sidebar? Just the title of the article, the title and part of the article, the title and the whole article?
Does your theme support Widgets? If so, do you use those Widgets in your sidebars?
What theme are you using (a link to download that theme may help)?

The title! and a part of the article.. and then they will click on a link to read.. the whole interview!
One option is to consider download and install Otto’s execphp widget.
Then, into that widget, you will want to code a small loop using the template tag, query_posts(), to get your one post then use the_content with the more quicktag feature.
