Posting a link brings up wrong description

    Everytime I post a link to my website to facebook it is bringing up the wrong description. Ive just searched for the home page with the website search function and its also bringing up the wrong description there.
    I have changed the meta description in the home page YOAST seo.
    Please see http://www.shugadesigns.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/error.jpg everything highlighted in yellow is wrong and I have no idea where its getting that info from.

    I have changed the meta description in the home page YOAST seo.

    Before viewing the updated page, try clearing cache:
    – Flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches. Not just your browser, but any op cache or content network cache as well such as Cloudflare. If you are using SiteLock, manage your caching there.
    – Flushing Managed host caches. Managed WP hosting often has special caches. If your host has a “Purge Varnish” or “Flush Memcache” tool, try that. You can ask your provider to flush memcache and Varnish for you if necessary.

    Thank you for that.

    Ive tried:
    – flushing caching plugins
    – reset cache on browser (This wouldnt be it though as this problem has been going on for months)
    – Changed meta descriptions in Yoast SEO
    – Hosting provider has flushed memcache and Varnish

    Probelm is still not fixed :/

    Also try:
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Seventeen.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
