When you send emails in plain format your email client will insert line breaks. To avoid the you can try setting “filter newlines” to yes, or change “preferred post type” to html.

    Thank you for your reply.

I could try setting filter newlines to yes, but I do use markdown, and postie’s setting page says «Set to no if using markdown or textitle syntax».

Is that ok if I just go ignoring that?

Thank you and have a nice day.

In the meantime, I just tried both the suggestions of yours:

    1) set text to html: the post goes blank, only the image is within. Text and metadata and everything else is missing.

    2) text plain but filter newlines: the post is there, but every new lines is stripped away, even those I want them to be inside the post…

    Thank you.

I tried set text to html and sending with an html formatted mail, the post is there but it is dark with black fonts (I guess that’s why my Android phone is in dark mode).

    >I do use markdown

That is a big missing piece of information.

Depending on what markdown plugin you’re using there might be different settings.
