Often times the exact layout from your email isn’t followed due to the styles defined by your theme.

If you install/activate the Support AddOn and process a message I can see more exactly what is happening. http://postieplugin.com/downloads/support-addon/

Does it on 4 sites with different styles.
It seems that long titles or special characters (Spanish) provoke the error.
It started with the latest version.
In the past “:” in the first part of a message was a problem. Now it is unpredictable.

I can’t help without some logs. Please either post some debug output or use the support addon.

Thank you for the logs over the last 2 days.

Can you direct me to a post that has the problem (uncorrected) so I can match up the email and see what is happening.

I received more logs, but you haven’t giving me any specific posts that show the issue.

Postie 1.8.36 was released today which likely fixed at least one of the issues you reported with spaces in the titles.

    Wayne,
Thanks. the issue seems fixed and it saves me hours of editing.

One thing though: Postie has a problem with “:” in the first part of a message when it creates a title. I usually just replace it with a “-“. Strangely enough when the “:” appears in the second part of the message’s title postie reads it OK. I will test that again.

Likely it is finding something in your taxonomy. Try turning off the “Use colon to match category” setting.

Removing that tab seems to work. I tested a couple of messages.
