i think it triggers on onblur event and will only run when we click outside the pincode box. we are using woocommerce to check for COD availability. if you wish to change it, you will have to create custom js on keyup event.
Ok, understand my situation –
First, as the checkout page load, no pincode is there, so no COD option.
Now when i put the pincode (which is in the ‘include COD option’) and click outside the box, it still shows No COD option.
I then delete the pin code and make that field blank and click outside the box, it then again loads, and show no COD option available.
Then again i enter the same pin code and click outside the box, it then shows the COD option available.
Same with the pin code which is not included in the pin code list for NO COD option.
The plugin does not respond correctly in first input. It works when we delete the content from the box, click outside the box and then enter the same pin code again and click outside the box.

Looks like its because of shipping rate caching which is not allowing to update cart accordingly.
Go to WooCommerce –> System Status –> Tools
And Enable Shipping Debug Mode
Hopefully that will resolve your issue.

110018 – Included for COD
000000 – Not Included for COD
Please check and suggest a solution for that.
Type 110018 and it will show COD option, delete 110018 and enter 000000, it again show the COD option. Now delete again 000000 and enter 000000 again, then it works perfect and don’t show the COD option.
