Post Timestamp and search engine

    I have made several posts on my blog which are already indexed by search engines, now I want to post some posts between those already indexed posts, which means I have to edit my new posts’ timestamp.

    Will editing the new posts’ timestamp effect search engines? Will the new posts between the already indexed posts be indexed by search engines?
