Post processing of images failed message

    Hi there

    I am having a problem uploading images (both jpeg and png) into the media library. I get this message “Post-processing of the image failed. If this is a photo or a large image, please scale it down to 2500 pixels and upload it again”. Even when I reduce the image size to 300 x 300 I get the same message. If I turn off new images optimisation in SG Optimiser I am able to upload again. Not ideal as this defeats the object somewhat!

    I’ve successfully uploaded a 2MB png image with dimensions 4000×2300.

    Please, try again, it could be a temporary issue.

    I can’t get to my laptop to test until tomorrow. I did leave the ‘optimise new images’ tab turned off, can you confirm you were able to upload with it turned on?

    Please, try uploading images. Most probably that was some temporary issue with your site. Let us know if the problem persists.

    Seems to be resolved right now, but this issue was persisting for quite a few days. I’ll keep and eye and revert if I need to. Thanks for your help!
