I’ve just tested the plugin and it seems to hide the post I want to hide everywhere except for the navigation at the top and bottom when you’re in a post, with which you can navigate to the previous/next post and thus also to the hidden post.
Is there a solution for this?
The main function of the plugin is to allow hiding of posts within certain common pages of the site like hide posts from a certain category or post tag on the home page, or RSS. The menu system is different in that it doesn’t really run the same form of query as the main page loop.
But will look into it to see if I can find a way in the next release. Thanks.
Not what I meant. Sorry when I first read your post I thought you were talking about the menus. As in Appearance > Menus. Reading it again after some sleep. You are having trouble with the Prev/Next links on your home page or archive. Correct?
What theme are you using? Generally the Simply Exclude will work correctly with the default theme. But I’ve seen reports were Thesis and some other themes don’t follow the same logic.
Yes, correct (only, my blog page isn’t my home page).
I’m using Weaver II as a theme and I actually think it’s my theme because I checked another WP site that uses Simply Exclude and that doesn’t have any problems with the next/prev.
Unfortunately, the support forum of my theme seems to be down atm:/
