post list on internal page

I’m doing a small CMS site that has a blog in the site. There are 5 top level pages, one of which is the blog. I’ve got the rest of the pages (including the home page) set up as “pages” in wordpress. The 4th link is the blog and when you click on that link, I’d like it to show what would normally be on the main page of the blog (the listing of all the recent posts). I’ve got a php page set up to do this, but I’m having trouble figuring out how to connect it (what to name it, what to do in the backend to make it show, etc)
