This is related to the settings in your WordPress dashboard under Settings > Permalinks. Please check and make sure you didn’t select in the area Common Settings the first option. Starting the second option will show you the permalink as text and not id.

No it is not the permalinks. I actually rebooted them to see if it was that, e.g. changed them and then changed them back with a cache deletion too.
Your plugin works for the first box, not the second.
Could it be a theme issue, cause another plugin does the same thing…

The post wasn’t saving the permalink change. Weird, I haven’t seen that in a awhile.
Edited the post again and the database updated.
