Post Head spacing changes with Gallery insert

    I have an interesting issue, in that when I add a post the text has all the line spacing and paragraph formating, however, if I add a single pic image to the first line, (using NG Gallery) the <p> is removed and the text sits right under the post title.

    I am also unable to force the generated HTML to add the <p> in front of the first paragraph of text that appears below the post title.

    Anyone have a solution for this, or is it a bug with 2.7?
