I am run the RC version of MailPoet 3 and I am in the process of migrating our existing automatic and monthly newsletters.

MailPoet 2 had a post format with an excerpt and a thumbnail sized image together for each post in our newsletters. How do I duplicate this format in MailPoet 3 newsletters including automatic ones?

  • Hey Radio Man, in MailPoet 3, thumbs are taken from the “featured image” of your post. So make sure you used those.

In MailPoet 3, the images will appear above the excerpt, and not left or right aligned to the image.

Maybe users have requested that we emulate this layout from version 2. We’ll be working on it shortly.

Yes, thank you for the answer to my question – I appreciate the quick response. Like other here, we have a user community that is used to the MailPoet 2 format for our newsletters. We’ll continue to test MailPoet 3 here but won’t use it for production until you have a chance to catch up on some of the features such as the one that we are talking about here.
