Post count of Heatmap archives function incorrect

Heatmap is a nice simple plugin to visualize categories and archives weighted by the quantity of posts.

I’ve just upgraded my wordpress software from 2.1 to 2.2 and found the the number of posts heatmap reports to be incorrect.

Hover your mouse over July 2007 and it shows “2 entries” when there is really only one entry. The error is reproduced here:

Anyone experience this or know how to resolve it?
