Post confirmation email …stopped

    Within the last few weeks, I’m not sure exactly when, users stopped getting the post confirmation emails.

    If anyone has hints where I might start …or if a recent updates may be affecting something with wp_mail() etc etc.

    any thoughts wisdom appreciated.

    I would suspect your mail server has tightened down some sending requirements.

    Make sure the email address in Setting::General has a domain name that your email server is authorized to send.

    I.e. if the email address is “bob@myblog.com” and you’re trying to send through your “bob@gmail.com” account it likely won’t work.
