Post Card Option Not Working

When I select the Post Card option for a single row, three column carousel, the images displayed are full size, overwhelming the screen.

Should these images scale down? My intent is to have it look similar to the first example on the demo site: http://demos.webcodingplace.com/responsive-posts-carousel-wordpress-plugin/
