Possibly looking into using wordpress as a portolfio

    Before I get to involved, I wanted to ask everyone here if you think I should use wordpress as portfolio solution and shopping cart solution. I need a new overhaul on my site, but I also need a great way to display and add a shopping cart as well. I was thinking about using slidedeck since my current employer is using it.

    Thoughts?

    I’m new to wordpress…was just wanting to know if this is for me or not. Here’s my site http://www.lionoptic.com. Looking to have a simple and easy solution to add images, allow comments on the images after someone sees my work at art shows, and add a shopping cart to purchase. I currently have some shopping cart solutions, however it would be nice if there were a way to combine within wordpress.
