Hi, thanks for this great plugin.

I saw your extensive list of filters, that’s great.

I would like to update a page or post instead of publishing a new one. Would that be possible with a certain hook?

You can use postie_post_before http://postieplugin.com/postie_post_before/

During the filter look up the post you want to update, modify post_content or whatever you want, re-save the original post and return null from the filter. That will tell Postie to not create a post.
