    Hi

I’m using this plugin on a Swedish site that uses this date format:

    22 NOVEMBER, 2015

    But this plugin outputs:

    22 NOV 2015

So my question is: can I change the plugin to use the same date format as my WP installation? Best solution would be an update that makes the plugin automatically use the default date format in the Wp installation. Don’t you think?

The next best solution would be to add a field where you could change the date format, just like in settings for WP:

    j F, Y

Well, thats it. Thanks for a great plugin!

Hello Sinkadus, your requestet date format feature is in a final state implementet on GitHub: https://github.com/mkrdip/category-posts-widget
(You can download the new code and override it in your WP installation. There the version number is not increased right now, so you get with the next wordpress.org releas an update hint, which is not disturbed by the overriding, because we will increase the version number with the next wordpress.org release.)

    • A check box for use default date is interesting.

    Greetings
    Daniel

Thanks – thats great news 🙂

Since the site I’m building still is in dev mode I will wait for this functionality when it comes with an update.
