Possible conflict with Storefront theme

    Hello,

    our logs show thousends of these entries per day:
    85.13.136.23 – – [18/May/2022:14:21:48 +0200] “GET /wp-includes/css/dist/block-library/style.min.css HTTP/1.1” 200 10546 “https://www.house-of-comfort.de/wp-includes/css/dist/block-library/style.min.css” “Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/94.0.4606.81 Safari/537.36” “Traffic IN:1006 OUT:14611” “ReqTime:0 sec”

    The user-agent shows that these hits come from wp-optimize arguably trying to cache the Gutenberg /block-library/style.min.css

    We tried to exclude */block-library/* from caching, which doesnt seem to have any effect.
    We checked our Storefront child theme functions.php, but there was no code which could have caused this.

    Any idea what could cause this behavior?

    I checked another Website that we run,
    with a different theme (Astra, no child-theme) and we have the same issue there.

    So this doesnt seem to be a conflict (atleast not with the theme), but a problem within wp-optimize

    Additional info:
    85.13.136.23 is the IP of our webspace, this log-entry comes from wp-cron
    Both sites are woocommerce-shops

    @dev502 Could you please try to uncheck the option “Enable merging of JS files” and “Enable merging of CSS files” from WP-Optimize > Minify > JS & CSS and check if it helps to fix the issue?

    Hi and thank you for your reply.
    We make use of http/2 and therefore those options were not checked.

    @dev502 Could you please try to turn off Minify option and check if it helps to fix the issue?
