• Hello,

I’m reaching out about a possible compatibility issue between your plugin and the G5Plus Auteur WordPress theme (WP Bakery Page Builder).

On my site I’m using Object Cache 4 Everyone alongside the G5Plus Auteur theme (with the Auteur Framework companion plugin). Since enabling server-side object caching, custom sidebars registered dynamically by the theme (via register_sidebar(), hooked on widgets_init) stop being recognised as active on the front end — is_active_sidebar() returns false for a sidebar that is properly registered, has widgets assigned, and appears correctly in the theme’s own admin listing.

Everything on the theme/config side has been double-checked and is correctly set up (page metabox values, widget area registration data, widget assignments in sidebars_widgets), so the issue only seems to appear once object caching is active.

I don’t have a precise root cause yet, but I wanted to flag this in case it’s something you’re already aware of, or if it points to a caching/invalidation edge case with dynamically registered sidebars.

I’m also contacting the theme developers (G5Plus) separately about this, since I’m not yet sure whether the fix belongs on your side or theirs.

Happy to share more details (site setup, plugin versions, or code excerpts) if that helps.

    Thank you,
