    Hi there,

I’m using the wonderful (free version) Virtue theme for my homepage mobitecture.com.

I was wondering if it would be possible to get a slider in the header of the website, let’s say in the area where the menu and logo are so that it’s always displayed on the same position on all of the pages?

Further more I would like to know if it would be possible to position a carousel slider on a feature page, not on top of the page (the default position of the image slider) but rather at the bottom just above the footer. On the “Services” page I would like to display some logos of companies I have worked with.

    Thanks in advance!
    Richard.

  • Hey,
Question 1. it’s not a built in option with the theme, you would have to use a child theme and add in a slider to the templates/header.php file. There is a built in option to add a banner in the header below your logo and menu but it won’t be a slider. Theme options > main settings.

    2. This isn’t possible with the free theme, You can use a slider plugin though and add anywhere using the shortcode. Here is a free slider: https://wordpress.org/plugins/ml-slider/
