I would like to position a full-size metaslider on my WordPress home page, in the same manner as this example: https://minttours.com/ (my webpage is http://www.zephyrkitetours.com). At present, there is always white space above the column and below the header, and this looks very amateur. Currently I am only experimenting on a draft page that is not published. I am not a web designer and I know nothing about code. I have searched this forum and tried to add in CSS, but, to no avail. I need to be stepped through the process. Is anyone able to help? Thanks.

  • Hi,

I’m not sure if I understand your correctly. Are you referring to this white space? https://share.getcloudapp.com/RBuEL0wo

If so, you just have to increase your Slideshow height.

Hi Arreane, thanks for your reply. I apologise, I may not have made myself clear in my initial question. I am currently editing a page in Draft mode, so the problem I am having is not visible on our website.

When I insert the metaslider, there is a gap between the top edge of the photograph in the slider, and the bottom edge of our header – this is the white space I am referring to. I would like the images in the metaslider to appear behind the header – in the same way that the image on our website is currently positioned, however, on an image slider. Does that make sense?

Maybe you can see here in my screenshot:

    Thanks.

This is something related to a theme issue but I could provide you a CSS fix for this if you could provide a link.
