[Resolved] Porting WordPress to new host

  • I recently moved my WordPress from my website at sjmccoy.110mb.com to my new account with DreamHost.com.

The new site is at: http://www.designwrite.info

I’m having a problem with the Media Library and with the WP-Simpleviewer plugin.

How do I change all the references of sjmccoy.110mb.com to http://www.designwrite.info?

For instance, with Media Library, when I try to Add New Media, I get this error:

Unable to create directory /www/110mb.com/s/j/m/c/c/o/y/_/sjmccoy/htdocs/wp-content/uploads/2009/05. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

This is NOT a problem with the write permissions…the directory needs to be changed to point to my new host, but I’m unsure how to do this.

    Thanks in advance!

  • I’ve isolated my problem to being with ONLY the Add New Media subpanel. I’m still having difficulty finding a post in the forums that offers a solution.
