    Hey,
    So there actually isn’t an option within the free theme to have your homepage a portfolio page. The homepage template overrides the portfolio template. In the premium theme you can make this work using shortcodes.
    You can add the portfolio carousel from theme options > home layout. You just can’t have the entire portfolio grid page on the homepage, at least not without editing a child theme.
