    1. Im having issues with the quality button I don’t see it on any video I play, I see the two video I have encoded .mp4,.ogv. button theres no button to select the quality am I doing something wrong?

    2. Whenever I upload portrait sized videos ex: 300W x 1000H I have to manually import these settings before I publish the video or it will not work display 16:9 [KGVID width=”601″ height=”338″]example[/KGVID] Is there a way to have all my videos display ‘width=”601″ height=”338″‘ without manually adjusting after the upload. fyi: i have the same dimensions set in the settings page as well

The resolution selector will only appear if there are multiple H.264 resolutions of the video available. Switching between H.264 and ogv is not something I imagine anyone would need to do. There was a time when ogv was useful to ensure HTML5 video playback in Firefox and a couple other browsers, but times have changed, and unless you have a workflow that requires it, I don’t recommend wasting your time with ogv anymore.

I’m surprised that you’re having this problem with vertical videos. Can you post a link to a vertical video on your site that demonstrates the issue and doesn’t have the manual height and width in the shortcode?

Sorry for the delay. I see the problem and I’m hoping to write a fix for it, but my development time is limited for the next couple weeks.

Version 4.6.14 adds an option to restrict vertical videos to the default aspect ratio.
