Popups stopped working after update.

    Hello support squad. I recently updated our sites WordPress to version 5.5.1 and popup-builder stopped working. I’ve searched through several past support topics for an answer but haven’t had any luck with those solutions. After it stopped working I updated popup-builder to version 3.69.3 and PHP version 7.4. The solutions I’ve tried include uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin, clearing my cache in several places on the WordPress and my browser and looking for conflicting plugins.

    From what I understand, with the change to the WP version 5.5 a migration tool known as jquery-migrate will no longer be enabled by default. I needed to install the plugin “Enable jQuery Migrate Helper” to get several broken parts of our site working again. This did not seem to solve my popup builder issue so I don’t know if those two things are related.

    There are no errors in the console relating to the popup builder plugin how ever when I put the plugin and WP into debug mode, I’m getting this error.

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Using $this when not in object context in plugins/popup-builder/com/libs/Reports.php on line 26
    (I left the rest of the stack trace out. Let me know if that’s needed)

    I haven’t found a solution for that error and I don’t know if that’s directly related to my problem because nothing got changed in the plugins code. Let me know if there’s any more information I can give that might give some more context to the problem. Any direction that could be give would be appreciated. Thank you very much.

    Can we ask you to update the plugin to the latest 3.69.4 version and check again?

    I recently updated our sites WordPress to version 5.5.3 and popup-builder stopped working, i already update the plugin to the latest 3.69.4 version and i m still blocked

    crisis averted! my hummingbird plugin we causing the issue. I have that plugin deactivated for now but I need to find a way to make both work together. At any rate I thank you for direction and appreciate your time. Have a great day, week, month, year and life friends.

    Can we ask you to clear the cache and in case the issue will still remain, to check the Console section of the Developer Tools section like in the article:

    Using Your Browser to Diagnose JavaScript Errors
