Poorly optimized for long-running sites

This plugin is not optimized for long-running sites. There is no built-in retention setting to automatically delete old login records, so the log table just keeps growing over time.

On my installation, this plugin is currently the #1 source of slow queries in the database. With millions of accumulated records, it has become a noticeable performance problem.
