• I am at a loss. When I put the website thru PageSpeedInsights I get a 56 score. The LCP element is causing the biggest issue. I have tried resizing, reuploading, changing the photo. I can’t figure out what is giving it the 6200ms render delay. The desktop performance is perfect. Why is there such a dfifference between the two?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi there!

Glad you reached out to us.

We have a post to improve your LCP score: https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/largest-contentful-paint-lcp/

On your page specifically, the Render Delay subpart on LCP is 83%. See this screenshot: https://share.zight.com/d5ukorwO

An 83% delay means that a huge portion of your LCP time is spent waiting (not rendering). Which suggests something is blocking or delaying that content.

    Some reasons for this are:

    • Slow Server Response (TTFB – Time to First Byte). Use a CDN, optimize server performance, and enable caching to improve this.
    • Render-Blocking Resources (JavaScript or CSS files are blocking the browser from rendering the LCP element.)
      • Minify, defer, or async non-critical JS.
      • If you don’t have any optimization plugins active yet, try using one.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other concerns.
