Polylang support

When I try to import pages that use translations created with Polylang, then the importer will complain about pages having the same title and skip the import for them. The importer does not recognize that these pages are translations and just happen to have exactly the same title in another language.
Am I missing something or is the importer just not working well with Polylang?
