Polaylang does not forward to target language

    Hi,

    I have translated all my pages (original: DE, additional language: EN) and switched a browser to EN as main language. The website still gets displayed in German. I have deactivated caching plugins and deleted the local cache as well.

    • Permalink settings: Default (Hide URL for standard language, remove /language/, /en/my-post)
    • Detect browser language activated
    • Static front page

    There is already a language switcher installed (flag in menu and bottom left corner), deactivating that did not fix the issue.

    Hitting /en/ directly does work. I am aware that I have not yet edited the menus to provide for EN as well, but that should not be the cause of this issue.

    I am sure I stupidly missed something very simple but I just can’t find it, neither in the settings nor in the documentation.
