Podpress more then one feed

    Hello,

    I’m usinge WP 3.0.4 and podpress 8.8.9 for my podcast. In the posts I have 2 media files attached. A AAC File for the normal Podcast Feed and a mp3 File for the Player on the site.
    Now I want to install an additional feed with the mp3 files for people with a normal mp3 Player.

    I tried to configure this with the podpress feeds settings part in the iTunes/General area. But there are 2 Problems:
    1. I can’t check by both files the RSS Feed. When I check the first and will check the second, the snag by the first will disappear.
    2. Wenn ich named the addiotnal feed and go to the generated URL, wordpress can’t find the page.

    What must I do?

    That is right. But in podPress 8.8.9 you can find a new option among the options of the podPress Feeds. This option is called “Bypass the “Included in” selection for this Feed”. If you check this option, the “Included in:” selection will be obsolete for this feed and will be possible to have the post in two RSS feeds. Otherwise you could make one of the two Feeds an ATOM Feed.

    If you rename a podPress Feed or if de- or activate such a Feed then you need to save the Permalink settings (in case you are using a non-default Permalink scheme).

    ps (de): Ich habe es ein wenig ausführlicher im wordpress-deutchland.org Forum beschrieben. Dort schaue ich nur ab und zu vorbei, weil dort weniger Anfrage bzgl. kommen und man auch nicht so gut Beiträgen z.B. zu einem bestimmten Plugin folgen kann, wie hier. Für Beiträge auf Deutch gibt es aber vermutlich der http://de.forums.wordpress.org/forum/wordpress-deutschland Forumteil besser geeignet. Dort ist es aber auch wichtig das Schlagwort (tag) “podpress” zu verwenden.

    ps (en): I would also answer your questions in German. But I think that http://de.forums.wordpress.org/forum/wordpress-deutschland Forum is more appropriate for discussions in German than this part of the WP.org forum. But in each case it is a good idea to use for podPress related posts the tag “podpress”. Because that makes it easier to find and follow these posts.
