PodCast Files

I just set up WordPress and getting the ability to do some rudimentary setup and getting the first post up was easy enough.

I own a radio show that gets broadcast on Long Island (NY) every Friday night for 2 hours. Each 1 hour segment has a file of between 25 and 30 meg. That’s obviously larger than the 8 meg limit for WordPress uploads. No biggie, I can host the file elsewhere.

When setting up the podcast, would I follow the instructions for general podcasting and just have the file available referring to the other domain? Will this confuse things at all since the domains will really be different? Alternatively does the ability to upload via FTP exist here?
