plugins dont change to deactivate

  • I added the new plugin AJAX Shoutbox, went to manage plugins, clicked activate…I see the bar across the top that says plugin activated, but the text does not change to deactivate. Plus, the plugin is not working.

    Oh, and here is the error I get when trying to use the plugin.

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: jal_get_shoutbox() in ./wp-content/themes/abstrakt/sidebar.php on line 27

    Warning: stat(): Stat failed for ./wp-content (errno=2 – No such file or directory) in ./wp-includes/cache.php on line 270

    @handysolo

    I’ve noticed the first part (not showing as activate) a few times myself. Seems that refreshing the page (F5) usually fixes that. for now…

    neg….I sat on the F5 key…still shows as Activate, even though I already activated it.

    this has been resolved. I re-upgraded to wordpress 2.0 and everything is working.
