plugin.php warning

    I am getting this warning showing on my debug.log I have actually counted the times it comes in succession and found it matches the exact number of plugins so its something to do with wordpress’ plugin.php and the plugins themselves.

    PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /<DIR ABRIVATED>/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 646

    any clue what is causing this? if you need that line of code from the file I can post it from what I read of the code its just taking the directory names for the plugins so wordpress can list the plugins.
