[Plugin: Yet Another Related Posts Plugin] Limiting results doesn’t work

I’m using the 3.0.6b version of YARRP, and I’m having trouble customizing the number of related posts it lists. Regardless of what I change the maximum number of related posts to in the Display Options, it shows 5. And when I use the related_posts() function, and use array(‘limit’=>3), it still displays 5. In fact, it did not seem to read any of the customization I put into the array when I used the function in my template. Though the plugin indicates that you only need to rebuild the cache when you changes options in the Pool and Relatedness sections, it only reduced the number of related posts to three after I rebuilt the cache.
