  • Hi,

What version of PHP are you running on your server? Do you see any issues in the frontend?

    Hi,

    PHP Version 5.2.17
    http://www.astrasuite.com/phpinfo.php

I really don’t know about the frontend, I don’t use an iphone … maybe you can try the website http://www.astrasuite.com on your iphone or smart phone, and let me know ?

    Settings are mostly default settings

I do use W3TC, but I think WP Touch is compatible with it.

However, even if no issues on frontend, this is a constant warning that makes me clean up my error log once in a while or it gets bigger and bigger.

    Thanks

Thank you for checking and the info. There looks to be something going on with your post-thumbnails / date icons. If you don’t mind, please take a look at the settings for the “Post Listings Options” section. Do you have them set to “Random” by any chance?

    You’re welcome.

Post Listing Options is “Post Thumbnails/Featured images”

Enable Truncated titles, Show Categories, Hide Excerpts are all checked

    others checked are :

    Allow zooming on content
Enable Categories tab in the header
    Enable Comments On Posts

Can you change them to calendar icons briefly? Also, are you using any post-thumbnail related plugins? Thanks.

maybe I should just select “No Icon or Thumbnail” ? Might be better and faster for user, I guess …

Ok, I’ve changed them now to calendar icons, please check …

    Post-thumbnail ? I don’t know what that is, sorry …

By the way, my theme on frontpage of wordpress blog :

    http://www.astrasuite.com/astrablog/astra-suite-latest-news/ is magazine template.

    http://www.astrasuite.com/astrablog is non-magazine …

That seems to be working well. Though, not sure why selecting post-thumbnails will be causing the issue. Are you using a custom folder for your uploaded images? If so, that may be causing the issue.

By post-thumbnails I mean the featured images, by the way.

The thumbs are generated by my WordPress Theme. When I make a post, I key in the location of the image. The theme then creates the thumbnail and that’s what it shows in the post listing …

If that is the case, then I just leave it with calendar, no issue for me.

Will this solve the error log problem ? Maybe I should observe first and come back to report here again ?

Ok, got to sign off for now … will observe …

Thanks ! So far so good, no more error in my server error log …

The method your theme is using to generate, store, and serve your posts’ feature images may be conflicting with WPtouch. If you are happy with the calendar icons then that may be the best solution for you as any of the options that handle thumbnails will likely give you the same error.

Thanks for your help, calendar icons are fine …
