[Plugin: WPG2] Slideshow broken after upgrade to 2.8

I’m not sure this is the best place to be posting support problems. If there is a better one, please let me know!

Newbie alert: I am not super-duper Web smart, but I did get Gallery 2 and WPG2 up and running on my blog. I recently upgraded from WP 2.6.2 to 2.8, and I think (but can’t be 100% sure) that in so doing I ruined the capability of my Piclens/CoolIris slideshow. Certainly, it is no longer working.

If you go to a gallery directly, it works fine, but if you go to it through WPG2, it looks okay, but clicking on the “View slideshow” link doesn’t work anymore. Everything else seems to be fine. Any idea what I might have done?

Any advice on what might have changed (I did nothing but upgrade to WP 2.8) or broken would be most appreciated. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the slideshow plugin from the gallery control panel, but that did nothing.
