• Hello,

We’ve been using WPBook to post our latest blog posts to Facebook. Everything had been going smoothly until we updated. Both 2.3.2 and the latest 2.3.3 cause posts to fail with an internal 500 error. The post is actually still posted, but, nothing ends up going to Facebook.

Any ideas on what could be going on? The internal error ONLY happens with this plugin enabled and when I try to submit a post.

    Thanks

What did you update to 2.3.3 from? (What was the last version which was running successfully)

What does your check permissions page say?

When your posts fail, is there any message displayed about the error?

I believe it was 2.2.3 that we upgraded from.

Check permissions page takes me to the App where the posts seem to be getting published strangely enough.

No message, it goes to the general 500 server error page.

I realize this is complicated, but what do you mean when you say “Check permissions page takes me to the App” – that should not happen.

The check permissions page should take you to a page inside Facebook which shows you your current permissions set.

What is the URL of your blog outside FB, and your app canvas inside FB?

Also, do you have debugging enabled? If so, does WPBook produce a debug file in the plugin directory?

500 server errors are very difficult to track down – unless you have access to some debug or the error log for the server.

Anything else change recently, or just the WPBook update?
