    Dear Tobias,

    Thank you for your help so far in adapting the WP-Table Reloaded plugin for our purpose. I truly admire your support and dedication to users like me!

    1. Our aim is to use the plugin to create a filtered table similar to the ones on these websites: http://www.source.info (under Products) and http://xtf.com/Research/

    2. We also want to implement a “Change View” option like the one at http://www.hl.co.uk/funds/index-tracker-funds/view-index-tracker-funds where you can keep the first column of data the same, but show additional different info in the next few columns.

    We believe your plugin will help us achieve this (by adapting it with DataTables API code), but acknowledge you designed your plugin to work with DataTables only. We wonder if you’d be willing to collaborate with us to get the plugin working to the standard we aspire to? We’re not asking for free help, and would be willing to buy your time to help us achieve the end result we want.

    – How much might you charge us?

    Hi,

    thanks for your kind words!

    I can see what you are trying to do, but as much as I would love to, I won’t be able to work on this with you, unfortunately. The main reason is time, as I’m very busy at the moment with my regular day job, as I’m not a professional developer. Also, I’ll have to admit that my JS skills are rather limited and this is out of reach for me.
    Sorry for not having better news.

    Now, you might want to contact the developer of the DataTables JS library about this. Allan Jardine (obviously) is an expert in JS around HTML tables, and he is a developer who is available for such professional custom work, as far as I know.

    Thanks Tobias. I’ve since been in touch with Allan but he too has a busy schedule.
