[Plugin: WP Super Cache] GC errors appearing in my error_log

    I recently started using Super Cache (beginning with v0.9) and I’m happy so far. I just noticed lines like this in my error_log:

    [Wed Feb 11 13:43:20 2009] [error] [client xx.xx.96.121] WordPress database error Lost connection to MySQL server during query for query UPDATE wp_1_options SET option_value = ‘1234388600’ WHERE option_name = ‘wpsupercache_gc_time’ made by wp_cache_shutdown_callback, update_option

    There are quite a few of these pairs, all with the same IP (feedburner.com’s, I checked) and only the option_value is slightly different.

    Thoughts?

    Try the development version on the download page. That may fix this problem. If it’s still happening, edit wp-includes/wp-db.php and look for the __destruct() function and add an error_log() – does your debug message appear before or after the sql errors above?

    I’ve now installed the 0.9.1 dev version. If I don’t reply again, it’s because the errors didn’t reappear.
