[Plugin: WP SlimStat] Changing the format for popup boxes

    I’d like to change the popup text that appears when hovering over the stats for a particular day on ‘Pageviews by day’.

    At the moment it shows as ‘pageviews 08/2010, 31, 29’ for instance. Ideally I would like to display it as ‘pageviews: 29 (31-08-2010)’ as this makes it easier to see what the numbers mean in a split second. I keep forgetting the day appears after the year and really confuses me!

    I’m sure they must be a simply function somewhere which sorts that out and just need to know which file and where it is.

    Hi there,

    I’m the developer of WP SlimStat. The graph under Pageviews by Day is generated using a third-party Flash software, FusionCharts). I wanted to do the same thing that you’re asking, but I was told this is not possible with the current version of FusionCharts 🙁 Anyway, I don’t see this as a deal-breaker, even if I understand that it can be a little confusing.

    Thanks for the reply and at least I know it’s out of your hands slightly too being a third party software.

    Let’s hope they allow you or us to be able to change those details in future releases.

    Actually, it seems there’s a way to customize that tooltip. I looked online after you asked and, even if they said it’s not possible, someone found a workaround. I’ll work on it and see what I can do 🙂 Thanks for pointing it out!
