[Plugin: WP phpBB Bridge] Does Not Stay Logged In
-
WordPress version: 3.2.1
WP PHPBB Bridge version: 1.0.3I believe I had the plugin installed correctly. As it was, there was a PHPBB User widget on my home page and I could use that to log in. It would redirect to my forum’s “successfully logged in” page and then redirect back to my WP homepage. The user widget would show all the correct meta info and included my PHPBB avatar.
However, the problem is that it will not stay logged once I click on any other links. Even if I log in and then immediately click on the Home button it will ask for my username/password again.
Looking around I found this thread: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-wp-phpbb-bridge-cannot-login-to-wp-admin-redirected-to-forum-login?replies=71
It describes the same symptoms as what I am having, but all the solutions have to do with installing the plugin correctly. As far as I can tell the plugin was installed correctly and it does bridge the WP user and PHPBB user databases, but it just doesn’t stay logged in. This could be the reason that other people were having problems logging in to wp-admin as well. If it doesn’t keep you logged in once you click any link then obviously it won’t consider you an admin and it will send you to the PHPBB login screen.
