New public beta version 3.8 release which is a complete revamp of e-commerce product. This plugin will not work.

same problem here! I have tweaked the search widget before the update using the method described here: http://dev.huiz.net/2009/07/04/how-to-create-a-search-engine-for-wp-e-commerce/

However, this method does not work for 3.8.x versions of WP E-Commerce Search widget

Any suggestions?
