    To be clear, WP e-Commerce claims it “Works with any standards compliant WordPress theme”.

    This is patently false.

    WP e-Commerce aggressively disables other Javascript calls that may be loaded by your theme, because the WP e-Commerce developers were not able to write code that plays well with existing code. I unwittingly tried to get this plugin working on a site with the Striking theme, and it ruined the site.
