the animated icon displays and just hangs in a window and goes no further! Roy, who created the theme, says it’s not his theme that is to blame!

more investigation has now mean’t I’ve found a partial solution…to turn off Shipping in
Store Settings > Shipping > Use Shipping: No
it now allows your to continue shopping, but doesn’t include the shipping costs to be added!
Any idea on how to resolve this bug, please?

Ok, I’ve solved it….
Store Settings > Shipping > Use Shipping: Yes
under ‘Shipping Modules’ > Internal Shipping Calculators > and check only: ‘Weight Rate’ and save!
the Postage prices you set for all your products will still remain! What a relief! 🙂
What Theme are you using? I just now tried your shopping cart, item added to cart without any problems.
I just tried again, and the only thing I noticed was having to click on “CONTINUE” a second time. This only occurred once.
