We set each one of our developers up with their own subdomains on our dev server (ie jsmith.dev1.ourcompany.local, bmarley.dev1.ourcompany.local). We then also set these “Server Names” up in the wpDeploy settings.

This is when we seem to run into our problem. When we visit one of the developers subdomains for testing we get and incorrect path for the css, permalinks, etc. It doubles up on the name:
http://jsmith.dev1.ourcompany.local/jsmith.dev1.ourcompany.local/wp-content/themes/twentyten/style.css

Am I doing something incorrect?

Hi Bart,
First, apologies for the lateness in reply. This is my first plugin and I hadn’t subscribed to the forum.

Would you mind sharing what you have entered as the WP_SITEURL and WP_HOME? These should have an http:// in front of them and have everything up to the /wp-content/…..

e.g. “http://www.exampledomain.com”

That’s great that you would like to use it in your development process. I have a number of changes planned as a result of using it in the development team I lead but it would be great to get others input as well.
