My gut feeling is that your path is wrong “/content/sites/i/r/irishtriathlon.com/web/wp-content” is there any more folders in front? You need to check with your webhost
Hi Lester,
after spending hours going through the past threads, i still don’t get the answers that i am looking. so, in order not to bump up the list of thread here, i shall seek my answers in this still open post. here goes:
(A) i am still getting the warning message “Your backup folder MIGHT be visible to the public” even though i did the .htaccess move. i try to going to line 191 thing as proposed by the FAQ. i can’t find that particular line or lines. may be i am looking at wrong file?
(B) i have the error Backup folder does NOT exist, as well as, Backup folder is NOT writable. according to my host, 755 is the best they can do for security sake. so 777 is out of question. so anything else that i can do?
Please help. you may be surprised but this problem have being bugging me for since March. finally, i am going to seek help.
Did you go ahead with the backup to see if it works despite the warning?

Lester,
I tried to complete the backup, but no joy.
I also tried to change the access to the folder via ftp, but again no joy.
It’s been a really useful way for me to backup my database for the past few years, so I would be keen to continue.
Brian.
